This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every distributor who connects a storefront to SolRUO and every verified research counterparty who transacts through one. Violations are grounds for immediate suspension, termination, and disclosure to the relevant payment processor.
- §01
1. Permitted Activity
SolRUO supports only the B2B sale of research-use-only compounds to qualified research counterparties — licensed researchers, clinical laboratories, contract research organizations, and credentialed institutional buyers — for in vitro or laboratory research use under 21 CFR §201.128.
- §02
2. Strictly Prohibited Conduct
- Direct-to-consumer sales of any kind, including via "research" framing that is functionally consumer-facing.
- Marketing, packaging, labeling, or implying products are intended for human consumption, injection, ingestion, or topical application.
- Health, therapeutic, anti-aging, performance, recovery, or wellness claims anywhere on the storefront, product pages, metadata, structured data, blog content, reviews, social media, or paid advertising.
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass the counterparty verification gate, signed attestation, or jurisdiction controls.
- Removing or weakening the standardized RUO and FDA disclaimer language.
- Onboarding buyers known or reasonably suspected not to be qualified research counterparties.
- Selling into jurisdictions identified by SolRUO as restricted or prohibited.
- Selling controlled substances, scheduled compounds, or any product whose distribution requires a license you do not hold.
- Operating any compounding-pharmacy activity without proper state and federal licensing.
- Misrepresenting your business to SolRUO or to your payment processor.
- §03
3. Storefront Content Standards
Every product page must display: (a) the standardized RUO statement, (b) the standardized FDA non-evaluation disclaimer, (c) a clear "not for human consumption" notice, and (d) a current Certificate of Analysis or link thereto.
Product titles, descriptions, alt-text, and structured data must not contain consumer or therapeutic framing. The weekly SolRUO compliance scan flags drift; you are responsible for remediation.
- §04
4. Enforcement
SolRUO may, at its discretion: lock attestation flow, freeze new orders, disable storefront connectivity, notify your processor, terminate your account, and retain a copy of all relevant audit records for the legal retention period.
SolRUO will give reasonable notice where the circumstances allow it; immediate action is permitted when continued operation would create material processor, regulatory, or third-party risk.
- §05
5. Reporting
To report suspected violations on any SolRUO-connected storefront, contact trust@solruo.com. Reports may be submitted anonymously.
